All the new snow kites in the 2008 range have a far easier stall when you wish to land the kite on the brake handle or with the safety system. It requires 50% less strength to stall the kite now which equals for easier and safer kiting. The Access XC launches easily, has huge de-power, light handling, easy to land, rock solid stability and the finest components and foolproof safety systems available. Now improved with a new bag with loads of volume and moulded chicken-loop safety release to offer you unmatched quality and performance. This year the Access XC bar components are the same as the Frenzy FX and Manta II with colour coded flying lines (Access 2 had all red flying lines).

High tenacity Ozone 40D ripstop nylon sail, with bullet-proof reinforcement in high stress areas.
Leading edges Mylar taped for a rigid, clean and efficient aerofoil, and absolutely no stretching. The Mylar tape effectively locks the sail shape, and maintains factory trim. For the trailing edge the seam is rolled twice and stitched to give a soft and clean exit for the airflow.
Double-needle stitched with UV-bonded thread for maximum strength, durability and a longer life. Every seam is checked to within 0.5 mm; a look at the colour scheme accuracy and the inside of the seams of our kites will highlight this fact.
Bridle attachment tabs are sewn deep into the reinforcement area of the ribs, which means that the load is spread over a larger area of material, thus reducing any stretching and ageing of the cloth.
Bridle designed using least line possible to minimise drag and weight. Highest quality Dyneema lines are stitched for extra strength and less drag and also to prevent tangles or snagging.
Ozone's heat-treated Edelrid Dyneema SK75 flying lines are tested to 300/300kg to ensure stretch resistance, a high thermal tolerance and durability for all kites. Lines are cut, pre-stretched, sleeved and stitched to ensure 100% accuracy. The lines are final load tested to 60% of their breaking strain to "lock" the line.
Colour-coded and labelled line connection system makes set-up safer and stress-free for riders new to kiting.

Warning: Although this kite is suitable for all experience levels, the larger sizes generate a lot of pull in strong winds. We recommend that beginners start with a smaller size kite, and only progress to the larger sizes when fully competent. Only use the large sizes in lighter wind conditions. Always read the manual included before use. |

Ozone have been leading the industry since launching the original Frenzy in 2002, and have remained at the forefront of the snow-kite revolution ever since. The leash-less re-ride safety release, first introduced in 2005, meant that riders did not need a leash to stay connected to the kite in an emergency.
The easy to grab handle, that is just as easy to re-connect, allows riders to rapidly stall or land the kite when they need to, and spin as many times as they like without any hassle or tangles.
Manufactured to the very highest certified paraglider standards, using the finest Amsteel spectra leaders, speed systems and pulleys available.
