Following the tremendous success with the original Imp, Ozone's designers re-worked it to produce three Imp products: the Imp III Classic, the Imp III Trainer and the Imp III Quattro. All the kites in the range have incredible stability, direct handling and fly perfectly across a wide wind window in light or strong winds.
The Imp Trainer is supplied with a bar control system and 3-line set up. With this clever and user-friendly system, the kite is incredibly safe and easy to use and re-launch without any line tangles. Designed to bring out the kite-surfer within everyone, the Imp Trainer is a perfect teaching tool for anyone thinking of progressing into land-board, kite-surf and snow traction. The Trainer is responsive, smooth and stable with just enough power to ensure you will be ready to progress to the next level.
Ozone's unique 3-line set up with safety leash guarantees safe, easy recovery and pack away. The 3rd line acts as a brake and connects the bridle at the trailing edge of the kite to a wrist safety leash at the control bar. When the control bar is released, the kite remains attached to the safety leash allowing a clean, safe stall without spins or line tangles. The kite is ready to re-launch or even reverse-launched easily without any fuss or frustration.
For 2009, the Imp range follows the stunning sail layout of the Flows, and De-Power kites. Available in three sizes, We recommend the 2.5 m for the best balance of performance and power - go smaller in high wind locations and bigger in light wind areas.
